Portable Apps Demonstration
by Jack M

What is it?

It's a way of running programs on a computer from an external device (let's say in this case a plugin USB memory stick) without having to actually install the software on the computer.

Why do this?

Maybe you don't want to take your home computer on a trip but need to run a specific program while you're away.

Ever want to run just one program, maybe some diagnostic software, on a computer without having to run all its already installed software.

When you remove the USB stick from the temporary host computer all traces of your program are gone.

Plus More

What the software provider says:

  • Make every PC feel like your own
  • Use your favorite software everywhere
  • Carry your bookmarks and settings
  • Edit your documents, photos and more

Provides packaged software suitable for use on portable media, without leaving settings files on the host computer.

Plus Portable Apps is Free!!
